DESCRIPTION

The SharePoint/.Net Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining applications on SharePoint and Microsoft.NET platforms. Should have a passion for software development & innovation and be capable of working with minimal oversight on enterprise projects and enhancing existing applications.

Responsibilities
  • Design, code, modify, and evaluate Microsoft.NET and SharePoint solutions
  • Devise logic and technical procedures
  • Perform coding and tests/debugs applications and programs
  • Develop conversion and system implementation plans
  • Prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation
  • Build solutions and perform maintenance that are technically efficient, effective, and follows internal and industry standards
  • Perform Full Systems Life Cycle, (plan, design, develop, test, implement, and maintain) effectively
  • Develop estimates and completes assignments on time and within budget
  • Conduct research, advises on new technology, and evaluates alternative solutions
  • Provide third level application support for portfolio of internal applications
  • Effectively work in teams as well as independently
  • Work with internal stakeholders and IS development team
Skills
  • Deep knowledge of 2.0 and/or 3.5.NET Framework, specifically C# and ASP.NET required
  • SharePoint 3.0/MOSS 2007 (or later) development required
  • Microsoft InfoPath 2007 (or later) development required
  • Knowledge of DHTML, JavaScript, and XML preferred
  • Services Oriented Architecture (Web Services, HTTP, REST) programming experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Transact SQL (T-SQL) syntax and database development on SQL Server 2005 (or later) RDBMS platform required
  • Knowledge of classical ASP, COM+, and VBScript preferred
  • Experience with SharePoint 2010 preferred
  • Microsoft development related certifications a plus
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Information Technology or related discipline
  • 5 years experience developing web applications using.NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, XML, XSL, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  • 2 years experience in design and application development using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and Windows SharePoint - Services including but not limited to a working knowledge of CAML, Web Services, InfoPath, WebParts, AJAX, and Active Directory
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills required
  • 5 years of experience developing applications on the SQL Server platform using T-SQL, stored procedures and database functions
  • 10 years of experience as a lead developer within software development terms
  • Estimated Travel - potential of one overnight per month associated with CPE, quarterly meetings, etc.
  • Estimate an annual average of 5 to 10% overtime. Overtime will be required in order to meet critical deadlines
