DESCRIPTION

The Leave of Absence & Special Areas Supervisor will have 5 direct reports. Process all leave of absence transactions and related edits for benefits eligible Crew, Managers, and Staff employees. Job responsibilities will include providing coaching, development and workload balancing to ensure that customers of Employee Services receive the highest quality service. Will provide comprehensive expertise in the areas of leave of absence policies and procedures and other special areas to resolve complex issues escalated by team members. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring that Service Levels are achieved, performing adhoc analysis to gain a deeper understanding of a situation, developing comprehensive process documentation or reporting, leading cross functional process improvement efforts, and providing backup coverage to other Supervisors within Employee Services. Will interact with U.S. and Canada customers in various HR Departments, Global Benefits & Compensation, Labor Legal, and numerous external vendors.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in completion of Large Manual Check Edit
  • Approve all time off for team
  • Review Monthly Performance Metrics to identify team and individual opportunities
  • Manage Process Documentation by reviewing and updating all process documents
  • Oversee and coordinate annual update
  • Coordinate with other Supervisors for staffing allocation and resource management as it relates to workflow and the Call Center
  • Seek ways to drive Customer Service skills within the team
  • Develop plans to support staff development.
  • Complete Ad hoc projects as requested.
Qualifications
  • 5-7 Years of Accounting or HR Experience
  • Associates degree in Accounting or HR, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3 years minimum of Supervisory experience
  • Proven track record of generating a high level of engagement to maximize performance
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to get results in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work individually and as a team member
  • Ability to multi-task to meet various deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to details and accuracy
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
