DESCRIPTION
The Engineer will develop and support software applications for wireless services operations.
Responsibilities
- Work with SQL Reporting Services, develop, and improve existing reports
- Develop user friendly web based applications (database query forms, setting up subscriptions for reporting as well as webhosting)
- Develop procedures and detailed documentation of all applications and programming code
- Provide maintenance support for internally developed applications
- Translate business requirements into design/code
- Handle multiple projects at once
- Work with employees from multiple departments on projects and documentation
- Review problems and projects on a weekly basis with team members.
Qualifications
- (Required) BS degree in Computer Science or related field
- (Required 5 + years experience) ASP.NET with C
- (Required 5 + years experience) ASP.NET AJAX
- (Required 5 + years experience) UNIX OS & Scripting
- (Required 5 + years experience) Microsoft Operating System/Security
- (Required 2 + years experience) MS SQL (Stored procedures, table setup, views, etc...)
- (Required) Internet Information Services (IIS)
- (Preferred) Silverlight
- (Desired) Basic understanding of GSM and CDMA technology
- Able to take the initiative and work with limited supervision
