DESCRIPTION

The C#/VB.NET Software Developer will develop or modify custom Windows and Web applications using object-oriented programming in C# & VB.NET, ASP.NET, XML, JavaScript, SQL Server 2005/8, MVC, SVN, and WCF.

Responsibility
  • Work on multiple projects providing development and maintenance work.
  • Understand complex software architectural components with minimal assistance.
  • Documentation of software design, coding, and maintenance.
  • Apply existing guidelines and procedures to make wise decisions.
  • Use independent judgment to identify problems and recommend solutions.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience developing Windows and Web applications using Microsoft Tools including Visual Studio .
  • 5+ years object-oriented software development.
  • Must understand OOP fundamentals and be able to write clean code that is optimized for maintainability as well as performance.
  • 5+ years of C# programming.
  • 2+ years of VB.NET experience
  • 5+ years of SQL or Oracle experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working with XML, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript, Telerik Controls, AJAX, Web Controls, User Controls, etc.
  • Experience with WCF, MVC and SOA patterns are a plus.
  • Ability to drive critical software projects to completion with high client satisfaction.
  • Strong understanding of how the software being used relates to the hardware being used.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audience of internal and external customers.

SKILLS
Microsoft Tools including Visual Studio , C# programming, VB.NET experience, SQL or Oracle experience, XML, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript, Telerik Controls, AJAX, Web Controls, User Controls, etc.
