Description
DESCRIPTIONThe C#/VB.NET Software Developer will develop or modify custom Windows and Web applications using object-oriented programming in C# & VB.NET, ASP.NET, XML, JavaScript, SQL Server 2005/8, MVC, SVN, and WCF.
Responsibility
- Work on multiple projects providing development and maintenance work.
- Understand complex software architectural components with minimal assistance.
- Documentation of software design, coding, and maintenance.
- Apply existing guidelines and procedures to make wise decisions.
- Use independent judgment to identify problems and recommend solutions.
- 5+ years of experience developing Windows and Web applications using Microsoft Tools including Visual Studio .
- 5+ years object-oriented software development.
- Must understand OOP fundamentals and be able to write clean code that is optimized for maintainability as well as performance.
- 5+ years of C# programming.
- 2+ years of VB.NET experience
- 5+ years of SQL or Oracle experience.
- 2+ years of experience working with XML, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript, Telerik Controls, AJAX, Web Controls, User Controls, etc.
- Experience with WCF, MVC and SOA patterns are a plus.
- Ability to drive critical software projects to completion with high client satisfaction.
- Strong understanding of how the software being used relates to the hardware being used.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audience of internal and external customers.
SKILLS
Microsoft Tools including Visual Studio , C# programming, VB.NET experience, SQL or Oracle experience, XML, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript, Telerik Controls, AJAX, Web Controls, User Controls, etc.
