Senior Zend ProgrammerExcellent opportunity to join a technology company as a Zend/PHP Developer.
We are looking for a senior Zend Developer.
You will be responsible for enhancing, improving performance, and supporting an existing high transactional web portal. You will be interfacing with the business and other developers to understand requirements for system changes so communication skills are very important. You must be consultative and very good at figuring out solutions to technical challenges. You will be doing 70% to 80% Back End development working with Zend Framework initially and then Drupal and Joomla.
You must be able to thrive in a fast paced Agile/Scrum environment and be able to think on your feet. If your interested, you will have the opportunity to learn Java in the future. You will be working with very complex and sophisticated high transactional dynamic web site that is very scalable. The search algorithms are very complex. Any experience with Drupal, Joomla, and Cloud based deployment is a plus.
This is a 6 month contract with the option to extend. There may be a possibility to convert to a direct hire. Work is a very cool and cutting edge environment with smart people.
REQUIRED EXPEDIENCE:
- 8+ years of programming experience
- 2+ years of Zend Programming. Must be at a Senior level.
- Strong Zend Framework experience
- Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills
