JOB SUMMARY

The Copy Strategist is a member of a user experience team and works with usability professionals on a daily basis. The main goal of the Copy Strategist is to create meaningful interactive experiences through online copy.

Our client is looking for someone who is experienced with writing copy for the web and it's preferred that the person has an understanding of usability. This individual will be serving as the subject matter expert on the user experience team when it comes to knowing what the user wants and how to best structure the message for the audience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Previous experience in developing content for the Web or other digital media
  • Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and deadlines and to resolve conflict among project stakeholders.
  • Experience with dynamic Web-based applications
  • Exposure to wireframes and Information Architecture

MINIMIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing/Communications or Equivalent experience in related field
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Copy Strategist or related field.
