CCCi has an immediate 3 - 6 month contract to hire need for a SQL Reporting Analyst.
Responsibilities will include, building reports and performing in-depth data analysis. The person in this position will work to determine key metrics, automate reporting and dashboards, and continuously monitor output. They are also responsible for analysing results, gaining insights, trending, and making recommendations to leadership team. They are responsible for analysing all aspects of operations, recommending opportunities to improve productivity, quality, process improvements and efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data analysis (deep diving) to analyze trends and exceptions to gain insights
- Make strategic recommendations backed up by quantifiable data and analyzed trends and present analysis to Leadership team.
- Format findings into narrative reports or presentations to include recommendations
- Automate and improve data reporting, quality, while providing technical expertise in effective report, dashboard and metric design
- Assist in development and implementation of measurement systems
- Build reports that drive increased productivity, quality, efficiency, and process improvements
- Make process and system improvement recommendations via analyzed report results that assist the leadership team to achieve goals and objectives, leveraging best practices and professional experiences
- Produce solutions needed to better meet reporting needs and automate data gathering and presentation of daily, weekly and monthly reports and dashboards
- Create executive-level summary reports and presentations
- Trend operational metrics to gain insights.
- Collaborate across the organization to maintain the Enterprise Roadmap plan of record and ensure the information is accurate and complete
- Manually create consolidated weekly project status reports
- Monitor compliance to status report for FHA, HUD, Jenny Mae and etc
- Build relationships and collaborate across the organization in order to provide consistent data to all parties
Qualifications:
- BS or BA in Computer Science, MIS, or Business
- 3 to 7 years of experience in data analysis
- 3+ years of experience developing reports using SSRS in a Microsoft SQL Server
- 3+ years of experience developing cubes, reports and dashboards using Microsoft BI Stack and SSRS in a Microsoft SQL
- 3+ years of experience writing SQL queries
- Experience with SMB
- Experience with SharePoint/SharePoint (Performance Point, Power Pivot, Excel, Dashboards) is a plus
- Experience in Excel Services is a plus
- Strong skills in designing and developing dashboards and reports
- Experience with PMO metrics and KPIs a plus.
- Solid understanding of project management concepts and techniques is a plus
