Senior .NET Developer - Chester, PA (6 month contracted position)
Our client in the Philadelphia area is searching for a Senior .NET Developer. This is a contracted assignment on an exciting project with a projected time period of 6 months or longer.
This position will be responsible for gathering requirements, translating requirements and developing within the VB.NET and C#.NET frameworks.
Required Skills:
- 6+ years experience within the following:
- VB.NET and/or C#.Net programming in .net3.0 and above (3.0, 3.5, 4.0)
- Business tier components development
- Data layer development, data classes middle tier
- XML, SOAP and web services development knowledge
- SQL 2005 and 2008 skills, T-SQL stored procedure coding and data/table design.
- Analytical and system design skills
- Requirements gathering and technical design documentation skills
- Self starter/motivated and goals driven; strong verbal and written communication skills
Bonus Skills:
- Microsoft MQ or Biztalk integration exposure
- REST web services/architecture exposure
- Exposure to middle tier queuing system; process workflow systems
