Description
A global publishing company located in Central London is currently recruiting for an experienced financial accountant studying at the final stages of their ACCA or CIMA qualification.
This role will be based in a major European department and will involve liaising closely with a central finance team in Germany to resolve queries, key responsibilities in this role will include managing journal entries for the monthly management accounts, monthly balance sheet recirculation's, managing intercompany transactions and balances, transfer pricing accounting, bank reconciliations, maintaining the fixed asset register, cash flow reporting and forecasting and preparation of the monthly backs.
Candidates for this role must have similar experience previously and ideally will have assisted with the statutory reporting process. European languages (particularly German) would be advantageous but are not essential and candidates must have a good standard of excel (including v look ups and pivot tables).
This is a challenging role where you will be offered the opportunity to work autonomously to create effective processes and procedures internally whilst maintaining the integrity of the balance sheet.
