The Company
The opportunity has arisen to join an industry leader in the design, development, and production of interior seating for on and off road vehicles, as a contract FEA Engineer. The FEA Engineer will be joining a company supplying a vast number of leading OEMs and will have the opportunity to work closely with global customers and colleagues. You will be working within a company focused upon innovation and forward thinking.
The Role
The FEA Engineer will work in the Advanced Engineering team of the company and will lead FEA activities for the development of seating systems. The FEA Engineer will take up the primary role in activities such as structural analysis, NVH analysis, crash prediction, and occupant simulation using LS-Dyna and Abaqus. The FEA Engineer will also drive continuous improvement of processes and methodologies and will have the opportunity to utilise their experience to make a profound difference to Computer Aided Engineering within the company.
The Candidate
You will be a degree educated and experienced FEA/CAE Engineer with the ability to use LS-Dyna to perform analysis on various structures. Ideally you will have experience using Abaqus, and possibly crash analysis software, although this is not essential. You will be motivated and independent and ready to embark on the challenge of making a senior FEA role your own, bringing knowledge and expertise from your previous experiences.
