Credit Controller- SC Clearance, Credit Control, Oracle, Prism, Excel
High profile public sector role based in Milton Keynes requires a Credit Controller for 1 year.
Detailed Requirements
*To ensure invoices are paid within agreed payment terms.
*To identify invoice disputes and follow these through until resolution.
*To manage our exposure to bad debt risk, by carrying out credit checks.
*To maintain good customer relationships.
*Undertake any other administrative duties which are deemed appropriate within the context of the Credit Controllers role and facilitate the achievement of wider team objectives.
Skills/Experience Required
*Understanding of the inter-relationship of various finance functions/processes which support the business;
*Previous experience of working in a Credit Control function which necessitated frequent telephone or face-to-face contact;
*Familiarity with PRISM/Oracle (Accounts Receivable/Credit Control Module) or similar management information system;
*Ability to access a credit risk and make as appropriate credit recommendations. (essential to this role).
*Previous experience gained within a commercial environment.
*Ability to organise and prioritise work to achieve deadlines;
*Numerical and analytical skills - able to quantify and interpret data and demonstrate attention to detail.
*Intermediate knowledge of excel as this tool is used extensively.
*Sound communication and interpersonal skills
The successful candidate for this role will require SC Clearance.
