Description
Medical Scientist Haematology DublinTTM Healthcare is recruiting a Medical Scientist with a specialisation in Haematology to join a Multidisciplinary department in a hospital in the South County Dublin region.
This is a 10-12 month contract.
Requirements:
?Bachelor of Science degree in the field of medical laboratory science, OR equivalent
?Membership of the Academy of Medical Laboratory Science or be eligible for membership.
?Have a minimum of 1 year experience in a Haematology laboratory since qualifying as a Medical Scientist.
?Experience on Sysmex XT 2000 haematology analysers and CA1500 coagulation instruments would be an advantage but not essential.
?The haematology department processes 60,000 Full Blood Counts and 40,000 coagulation samples yearly of which 50% are received from GP's.
The successful candidate will be trained in both haematology and coagulation techniques which are performed on site.
