This position is based on a one-year contract to implement activities intended to maintain accreditation with Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services (ODADAS) and the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Correction (ODRC) and to achieve accreditation with the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). The purpose of this position is to further CATS’ goal to provide dual diagnosis and integrated treatment to our diverse clientele. Works under the supervision of and collaborates with the Clinical Director and CQI Director.

 Activities include:

  • Peer & Record Reviews,
  • Reviewing assessments, individualized treatment plans, progress notes and discharge summaries for accuracy, consistency, and compliance to ODADAS, ODRC, and CARF standards,
  • Oversight of corrective action when deficiencies are noted,
  • Assist with training and orientating clinical staff on best documentation practices,
  • Assist the Clinical Director and CQI Director with other accreditation activities.
  • Provide consultation on clinical matters
  • Supportive, comprehensive quality assurance and support services in collaboration with CATS’ senior management team
  • Management and quality control of CATS’ current track to CARF Accreditation
  • Adherence to timelines and deadlines
  • All evaluation, dissemination and correspondence of CARF-related reporting and submissions.
  • Chart review and clinical approval of current billable services
  • E xcellent documentation and communication

Requirements:

  • Independent licensure (LISW, PCC-S, LICDC)
  • Knowledge of CQI processes and evidence based practices
  • Familiarity with CARF accreditation
  • Familiarity with ODADAS and ODRC accreditation preferred
  • Experience in social services, corrections, or health-care settings preferred
  • Ability to work independently and seek supervision as needed
