Description
Our client located on Cleveland's East side is seeking a SAS/SQL Developer for a 6 month contract need.Qualifications include:
1. Work closely with IT to acquire data files; ensure data integrity and accuracy
2. Collaboratively develop data set rules; work alongside the data steward of department
3. Architect actuarial database working collaboratively with team
4. Create complex programs in SAS that require multiple steps ingesting, parsing, transforming, and analyzing data
5. Develop, test, validate, document, maintain and execute programs in SAS.
6. Write SAS/SQL programs to meet department needs
Position Summary:
Position is responsible for the coding and unit testing of internal applications.
Duties:
Work with IT and business to understand requirements.
Performing coding and testing of software solutions.
Generate specifications for design and development from business requirements.
Develop a unit test plan from the business requirements.
Analysis of data formats and parsing of data.
Aid in the design and development of databases and other duties as assigned.
Experience:
SQL experience, including stored procedures; preferably Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience with ETL processes; Benefit Claims and/or PBM experience is preferred.
