Description

This is a Junior Architect Role who is capable of translating the business requirements to a solution design for all the components within the existing scope of Programme.

This role will interact with Team members, client's architects as well as the interfacing Architecture and Development teams. This individual will understand the application, data and process requirements and produce various solution design documents through an established development lifecycle,

Should define, produce and own System Use cases (using Case tools and UML) that forms the Solution Design for the business requirements (Functional and Non Functional) identified for the respective project stream.

Should have exhibited knowledge on SOA and Web services concepts and should have performed a role of solution designer in at least 2 projects from Requirements Analysis through implementation.

Capture and Design the Integration Solution by defining Integration Design documents and Data mapping Specifications

Should have knowledge on a CRM Solution (preferably SIEBEL) and good application knowledge on EAI Concepts

Should be an hands on technology person who is ready to work on Java/J2EE technology on a need basis

Should function as a lead designer role who liase seamlessly with customers to understand, translate the requirements into solution and also to liase with offshore team in getting the solution implemented.

Candidates will have good leadership skills as the role holders will need to be self organising/managing and the ability to resolve complex problems. Broad experience of integration, data and application architecture issues within a CRM solution.

Experience in preparing solution design using Case tools or MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Project, MS Visio, SPARX Enterprise Architect (Preferred), System Architect.

Experience and ability working in an agile development environment, through at least 2 completed lifecycles, using UML Analysis & Design notation is essential, as is experience in XML, XSD/XSLT.

Experience working with cross-functional teams and working across the entire systems development.

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to debate, dialogue, negotiate, influence, and work with others collaboratively and constructively.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a technical environment.

Very knowledgeable with current technology and desires to learn new advances.

Familiarity with any of the following applications is desirable (Not a Must): OPA (previously Hayley's Rules Engine), Documentum, Adobe Livecycle, Websphere & Websphere Process Server, Portal Technologies, Siebel 7+ (especially important would be a good understanding of the Siebel 8+ Public Sector data model), Banking Applications

Good knowledge on Java/J2EE technology concepts.
