Financial Accountant
Financial Accountant required to produce annual statutory accounts within internal set deadlines. Provide support in production of group and FSA return and liaison with internal and external auditors over return providing further analysis, explaination and understanding where requested. Ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately and completely in accordance with IAS, legal, regulatory, supervisory, and Group policy requirements and specific industry codes of practice. Ensure transactions have been properly authorised in line with agreed policies and exceptions are reported. Preparation of detailed analysis reports for submission to management, including the Finance and Executive Board and external bodies, including tax and regulatory authorities. Production of ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested. Production of Actuarial Reconciliations and resolving reconciling differences promptly.
