Our client, a world renowned and leading organisation has an exciting opportunity for an experienced consultant to join their international infrastructure team within a senior design and delivery capacity and may require you to travel or be involved in the strategic execution of solutions for significant global customers.
Within this exciting opportunity, you will be performing the following to a variety of both outsourced and new customers;
1. Providing strategic network consulting services in the application of enterprise networking for the provision of business solutions for clients.
2. Consulting and seeking to identify customer requirements and delivering advice and solutions which add value to customer's business.
3. As need and ad hoc consulting, including the evaluation of customer's business needs, contributing to the strategic planning of communication services.
4. Accountability for completion of assignments to agreed standards and approved budgets.
5. Development of customer proposals, cost models and participation in bids.
6. Preparation of network designs (both physical and logical.)
To be suitable for this opportunity, you will have the following experience:
* Tertiary qualifications and minimum of 5 years network design and consulting experience
* Extensive and proven knowledge in enterprise networking (IP, routing, switching) coupled with strong analytical skills.
* Extensive client facing experience
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
