Our Client, based in South Dublin is a leading Multinational Software company, has an excellent opportunity for a Systems Administrator to join a world class Lab and Infrastructure services environment. This is an initial 3 month contract with the potential to extend.
You be providing support in a cross group collaborative environment, helping shape the best services for mission critical test automation and the supporting infrastructure.
Some duties will include
Being accountable for the smooth execution of multiple test automation run types, including but not limited to user interface tests for both client & server, functional scripts, setup, language interface packs, service packs, proofing tools, agents, worldwide & release automation.
Ability to influence/determine hardware, networking, scalability, infrastructure, manageability, performance, capacity and hosting requirements.
Proactively identify areas for improvement and successfully implement changes in the environment up to and including full scale lab solutions.
Requirements:
- Windows , Networking
- command-line-Scripting,
- SQL Server administration
- IIS, SAN technologies
- PC and server hardware.
- Understanding of Virtualization Technologies, Windows Server 2008 Virtualization (Hyper-V), understanding of TCP/IP in both a Local network and Internet context.
- Understanding of Cloud services an advantage.
