We are looking for two or three Front Office consultants/Support administrators to work at our multinational client in Stockholm/Sweden.

BACKGROUND

There is a need for general ICT Support within the Front Office team.

The Front Office team provides ICT Support for the agency as the single point of contact.

The Front Office team is covering the service desk function and provides services to both internal and external users.

The main support activities are within the areas of first level and second level ICT support.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Register, analyze, categorize and resolve reported incidents and requests;
  • Assign the appropriate priorities and dispatch incidents and requests to the adequate support group;
  • Support users and their workstations, telephones, PDA's and other IT equipment;
  • Provide application support and ensure installation/reconfiguration/reinstallation of applications;
  • Provide remote support and desk support;
  • Install, connect and move PC equipment;
  • Manage user accounts;
  • Provide the users with information or awareness sessions on specific ICT products and solutions whenever necessary;
  • Assist in the negotiation with suppliers;
  • Keep the inventory of the IT assets;
  • Produce and update technical, management and user oriented documentation;
  • Keep the stock and the configuration items information up to date;
  • Prepare user related hardware for decommissioning.

PROFILE OF THE CONSULTANT

Desired knowledge and skills

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in 1st line support w/r to Software and Hardware
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office support;
  • Good knowledge of end user mobile device support;
  • Good knowledge and experience with Landesk Service Desk Console or another Service Desk tool
  • ITIL foundation knowledge; and/or ITIL Foundation V3 certificate.
  • High level of service orientation;
  • Excellent team worker but also able to work self dependent;
  • Experience of working in an international working environment;
  • Experience of working in a public sector environment.
  • Good knowledge of English language, Swedish knowledge is an asset;

LOCATION of work: at client premises in Stockholm/Sweden.
