Description
Our client is looking for an End-user support, fleet and Servers' management for 12 months contract based in Brussels.
End user support/Helpdesk Support, Fleet Management, Network Admin & Server Management:
You will have to answer to emails & phone calls for user requests about:
-Windows XP Pro, Windows 7
-Office 2003, 2007 & 2010 (Outlook, Excel, Access, Word & PowerPoint)
-Intranet access, file server access
-Any other problem like printing, networking, etc
You will install & configure PC/Laptops with Fiat Master Disk. You will call/mail external helpdesks for hardware problems (providers like HP, IBM, Mobistar, ) You may have to install software for synchronizing PDA/mobile phone with Outlook (moreover for Blackberries devices).
You will maintain an updated hard & software list (inventory, licenses). You may propose tools, systems & solutions to enhance end-user support and Workstation/fleet management.
User support is a contact-oriented activity. Communication skills are needed.
Technical Requirements:
-Windows XP, 7
-Windows 2003 Server
-Active Directory, NTFS and sharing
-DNS, WINS & DHCP (use of commands like nslookup, ping, traceroute, ipconfig, static routes, etc)
-You are familiar with software for synchronizing PDA & mobile (Active Sync, Nokia PC Suite or others)
Any other technical knowledge is welcome.
You are a fluent French speaker with a good communication in English. Dutch is an asset.
