SQL Database Administrator

This position is based in Dublin 15 with some travel to client sites in Dublin city centre and is a 6 month rolling contract.

The Role:
This job is ideal if you have more than 5 years experience in Microsoft SQL Server design, implementation, maintenance and support and experience in managing SQL clusters.

Key Requirements:
You must have your own transport as some travel to Dublin based client sites may be required.
You will also need to be available for on-call work.

Tech Requirements:
Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008 administration experience is a must including backup and recovery procedures and performance turning methodologies.
Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008 Clustering experience.
Experience in SQL Server Database Upgrades & Patching.
Knowledge on Analysis Services/Integration Services & Reporting Services on SQL Server database
3/4 years of Windows Administration with good MS Active Directory experience.
Knowledge of DNS/DHCP/Group policy as well as Microsoft clustering.

It would be also beneficial to have experience with the following:
VMWare ESX 4.1 +
MS SharePoint
Windows Scripting experience
BizTalk Server 2006 or higher/IIS 6.0 or 7.0/Web Sphere System Administration
Oracle Database Administration/preferably 10g
Oracle Application Server Experience
