My global financial services client has an Urgent requirement for an experienced R Developer/R Consultant for an initial 6 month contract based in Amsterdam. The client has recently chosen R as their statistical tool for their Solvency II programme and require a specialist to advise, consult and develop the use of R within the business. The successful R-Consultant will need to be an expert in the use of R and have extensive experience of Java, particularly the integration of R within Java based environments. Previous experience of Statistical Software development and computational finance systems would be very advantageous

* Java knowledge (particularly around R integration within a Java based environment)
* R system and environment architecture
* R software architecture

* Solvency II implementation - standard formulae.
