JOB TITLE: QA scrum team member
THE OPPORTUNITY
My client is looking for an experience QA scrum team member for a project working on the implementation of Endur
WHAT EXPERIENCE/EXPERTISE IS NEEDED FOR THE PROJECT
- Scrum team members in a long term, co-located scrum team with testing as primary skill.
The person assigned to this role will:
- participate in test activities within the team to deliver the agreed quality coach and guide scrum team members, product owner and users/user representatives related to testing organize test activities within the team

My client needs persons who are passionate about QA and Testing and want to work with highly motivated development teams to deliver excellent quality solutions.
The QA scrum team member will create lightweight strategies and plans when needed, will conduct confirmation and investigative testing. The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of software testing and experience with a testing approach that integrates with Scrum.
Responsibilities:
- Competence for verifying that Definition of Done criteria is met for each sprint
- Focus on the development and maintenance of the testing in the sprints
o Analysis/static testing
o Design, specify, create and execute test case scenarios
o Identifying, researching, resolving and closing defects
o Prioritisation of testing
o Administer testing information - Identify and define areas where testing should be automated
- Give feedback to the team to ensure the quality goals are met
- Interactively participate in sprint planning and daily Scrum meetings
- Coach other team members in QA and testing
Experience & Qualifications:
- Solid background (at least 3-5 years) in software testing, creating test deliverables (eg test conditions, test cases, test approaches)
- Experience of exploratory testing as well as scripted testing
- HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) system
- Analytical and creative
- Good at problem solving
- Good understanding of the development process
- Strong interpersonal skills including written and verbal
- Business analyst competence within Crude Oil & Liquids & Products & Gas & Mining (CLP) business areas
- Experience working in an agile development environment
