Description and responsibilities
In the past years, Data Services and Business Intelligence has developed a Datawarehouse where data from several clinical tracking and planning systems is gathered. This Datawarehouse serves as a source for several Cognos reporting tools, enabling the business easy access to their data.
For our ongoing projects, ETL extensions need to be build to the existing Datawarehouse environment

Primary Tasks and responsibilities
Build and apply technology expertise in area of Informatica ETL to define, deliver and deploy the required solutions for the business ensuring timely and accurate data availability in reports and allowing them to do faster decision making (Datawarehouse)
Build and apply technology expertise to define, deliver and deploy solutions that increase the reporting capabilities (Informatica and Cognos)
Assist the Reporting manager with project planning for new system development;
1.Actively participates in project operational meetings
2.Proactive and recommend changes to remediate/improve efficiency and effectiveness.
3. Set up meetings with the client to review functional requirements, design of technical solution, steer where necessary and deploy the technical solution within the agreed up m timelines
Partner with Data Services and Bl Reporting Manager and Reporting Analysts towards the establishment of requirements, and progress updates on the required development.
Technical profile requirements
ETL analysis and development in Informatica PowerCenter (+2 years),current version is 8.6
Hands-on technical skills covering Oracle database and SOL
Data modelling knowledge is a plus
Cognos experience (Report Studio and/or framework manager) is a plus.

Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines

Methodology/Certification requirements
Master and/or Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Sdence OR equivalent through experience.
Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
Additional certification is a plus
