VMWare Architect/Technician - VMWare, VCP, VSP, Site Recovery Management
Darwin Recruitment is expanding its VMWare competence network providing Professional Services to our existing and new customers - some of which are globally based.
The Ideal Candidate will possess:
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in VMWare administration of systems in a Corporate/Academic environment
- Documented Experience with VMWare Site Recovery Manager
- Excellent customer service, communication and documentation skills, as well as ability to interact and communicate with team members globally
- Motivated & capable of working alone or within a team and under pressure.
- The Ability to discuss & present to technicians & management
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems quickly and skillfully
- Solid understanding of networking and strong troubleshooting skills required
- Preferred experience with hardware - ie CISCO, SAN, Server Room infrastructure
- Minimum 3 years' experience in infrastructure architecture and design of complex distributed systems environments, including failover techniques, recovery/rollback, and application partitionin
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a technical lead role for small- or medium-size teams
- Strong practical Linux and/or Windows Server systems administration skills
- Preferred knowledge of SpringSource
- Preferred experience with ITIL
