Description
My client in London is currently looking to take on an established eCommerce Web Developer to join their team in revamping their current website. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading retail organisation at a critical stage of their project.
This is a urgent requirement and requires the right candidate to be available immediately.
Key Accountabilities
Ultimately responsible for the management and day to day running of the company (90%) and franchise websites (10%), which includes Front End and Back End programming using c#.net V2.0 (with some minor elements in v4.0)
Management of the integration of their website into SQL server
Manage varying work load priorities
Manage and maintain internal and external web applications and web services using c#.net
Manage and maintain secure applications, including checkout and accounts
Liaise with 3rd parties to resolve issues with applications, implement new applications and features
Liaise with E-commerce team to implement new websites, applications, new features, competitions, upgrades to any of the websites and applications
Set up new websites and applications on the web Servers through IIS
Set up new databases on database Servers, including editing existing databases and tables
Manage and monitor the web file Servers and IIS, database Servers, including performance monitoring
Manage development and testing environments and ensure code is tested thoroughly before deployment
Manage error report emails, coremetrics error reports and bug fixing
Monitor support emails > be responsible for all 1st line technical queries.
