Description
An internationally renowned mobile telecommunications firm are keen to bring to their team an accomplished IT Support Engineer who is keen to work in a progressive environment.
General responsibilities
* Handle IT Operations independently for at least 100 user setup
* Work with vendors to provision, design, maintain and troubleshoot circuit issues
* Translate business and customer requirements into solid and stable network infrastructure solutions
* Communicates effectively with internal clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with organisation's project management Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
* Manage centre Budgets for IT Purchases and Expenses and related financial activity
* Participates in Global IT meetings, for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information
* Required to perform functions.
* Coordinate for IT requirement between the IT department and Projects
Technical Responsibilities
* Well versed with IT Domains like Windows/Networking/telecoms/Development/Messaging/Internet Services Support etc
* Handling all day to day tickets on windows domain, like folder access, hostname creation, user account management, project folder creation, quota management etc.
* Handling from IT helpdesk and assisting users for technical queries.
* Monitoring and administering all windows Servers, services and storage space on project folders.
* Administering IT Managed software's Configure test environment for any rollouts, planning and deploying.
* Assisting Corporate IT on their various activities on request, assisting network team and Linux/Unix team as part of the day to day work. Sometime assisting other locations IT team as well.
* Participate in IT Setup, design, implementation and exercises provide technical support to the different Project team and assist with their Lab requirements Design and implement customer ODC's( off shore development setups)
* Manage Company PBX's, Analyse Telecoms Billing and CDR's
* Working knowledge of Audio and Video Conference equipments
* Knowledge on PRI's and BRI's Manage Audio and Video collaboration setup
