Position Summary

CCCi's client has an immediate opportunity for an EMC Storage Administrator in Atlanta, GA. The selected individual will be responsible for managing the implementation and ongoing administration of multiple Enterprise class storage platforms (EMC) in support of business mission critical applications. The Storage Administrator will provide technical services for our client in a highly complex data storage environment. As a key member of the services team, the Storage Administrator will provide administrative maintenance surrounding data storage and protection solutions. This person will work closely with our client's technical services and support groups, external vender partners, and the customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining company's large-scale technical storage resources.
- They ensure satisfactory data storage resources, capacity, and management.
- Evaluate, recommend, and set-up data storage capabilities for hardware and software.
- Perform data allocation control, archival, and relocation to ensure efficient use of data storage resources.
- Monitor, report, and analyze data storage to ensure adequate system capacity, tuning, and accounting.
- Maintain client data and application processes in accordance with service level agreements.
- Assist in the development of storage architectures based on capacity planning analysis and other needs assessments.
- Assist in action plans with business units across the enterprise based on established requirements, available disk space, and future growth.
- Assist in the design and implementation of redundant systems and policies for disaster recovery and archiving to ensure effective protection and integrity of storage appliances and stored data assets.
- Configure and/or validate new and existing SAN devices and corresponding software.
- Analyze storage equipment performance, collect information, and prepare summary reports.
- Respond to Level 1 & 2 situations and resolve SAN problems, retrieval issues, storage device status, and other issues.

Basic Requirements
- 8+ years of systems administration and engineering experience that include the building, configuring and support of mission critical, storage systems in a large, enterprise environment.
- Hands on experience with EMC's Control Center, SRDF, and Timefinder, and as well as director class Switches and high availability SAN configurations is required
- Proven understanding of SAN connectivity Windows 2008, Linux and AIX environments required
- High performance storage subsystems and SAN technologies; IP SAN; iSCSI
- Database backup and restore, such as Oracle, SQL, Exchange, etc.
- Fibre channel fabric
- Clustered systems or high availability solutions
- Certifications in technical software applications
