Description
Senior Storage Engineer with excellent EMC experience required for an initial 3 month contract based in Warwick.
As the Senior Storage Engineer you will be responsible for taking ownership of complex changes and implementations as well as coaching of less experienced technicians.
EXPERIENCE:
- NetApp
- EMC (VMAX, VNX, Clarion, Centera)
- HP (XP24000, XP12000 )
- NetBackup/Networker Key
- 5HP and IBM Storage Arrays would be advantageous
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitoring of NAS/SANs
- Capacity management
- Understanding and operational knowledge of thick and thin devices
- Resolving hardware issues
- Adding and removing hosts to/from NAS/SANs
- Reviewing configuration details of NAS/SANs
- Planning upgrades to the NAS/SANs
- Producing and maintaining Storage support documentation.
- Proven experience on EMC Symmetrix DMX, VMAX, CLARiiON and VNX essential.
