Senior Siebel Business Analyst - Banking/Finance

K2 is urgently seeking a Senior Siebel Business Analyst from a strong banking/financial background for an assignment in the Middle East. You will develop detailed business requirements for a financial company in according with their SDLC Methodology. You will also be required to oversee, review and quality-assure the work done by other BAs and ensure the deliverables are in line with the overall business architecture and within budget.

Role

- Ensure that agreed Business requirements are compliant with the overall Bank's Technology and Business Strategy.
- Manage the process of establishing the Business requirements for new Systems or enhancing existing Systems and proposing efficient Technical and Commercial solutions to satisfy these requirements.
- Identify new Systems Interfacing and Integration requirements.
- Liaise with Project teams during Development and Implementation phases.
- Coordinate with Vendors and related IT Departments.
- Design reports for new or enhanced Systems in line with the Bank's standards.
- Provide support in the development of Testing Strategies, cycles and Methodologies to ensure that the new or revised Systems comply with the Functional Definitions and that these enhancements integrate correctly to all related Systems.
- Identify data conversion requirements and participate in data mapping, data cleansing and data conversion tasks.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of best Technical and Business practices within the Technology industry as well as an understanding of the tools available within to deliver Technology solutions.
- Evaluate solutions/products proposed by Vendors
- Involvement in solution Testing (End to End)

Skills & Experience Required

- Strong Business experience in the Banking/Financial sector.
- Experience of 10+ years in the IT industry, with at least 7 years Business analysis experience(5+ Siebel Experience).
- Strong knowledge of bank processes.
- Experience in an integrated Financial System environment ( Treasury, Retail, Procurement and Investment Banking)
- Project life cycle experience - International Standard Methodology
- Strong analytical and design skills.
- Knowledge of the Financial and/or Banking Applications.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to Manage human and Technical resources.
- Ability to conduct formal meetings at a Senior level with users and Vendors personnel.
