My client, a local government organisation based in the East Midlands currently requires an Interim Year End Accountant for a period of at least 4 months.
Working with senior finance colleagues within this prestigious Council, you will be responsible for assisting with the Year End process following a large scale financial system implementation project.
Duties will include contributing to the closure of accounts, extracting information from the SAP system and creating complex financial spreadsheets. You will also be required to prepare financial reports for senior colleagues.
The ideal candidate will be CCAB part-qualified or equivalent and will have year end experience, ideally within a large local authority. Local government experience and a strong working knowledge of SAP are essential criteria for this role.
