Senior Test Analyst - FED GOVT, Initial 12 month contract with view to

One of ACT's most established and high profile government department is looking to appoint a several Senior Test Analyst to join this large IT department for an initial 12 month contact starting ASAP, with the view to be extended. You will be responsible for the development of test plans, test scenarios, Scripting and execution of functional test scripts as well as integration testing for all major IT development activities with the government department including applications and network infrastructure.

To be successful you must be able to demonstrate the following:

• At least 5 years testing experience in a commercial environment
• Demonstrated experience in information systems development, testing methodologies, relevant tools and techniques, such as Testing concepts, Identify functional and integration testing requirements, Identify data requirements, regression testing and execution.
• Knowledge of or the ability to learn Testing Tools such as Quality Centre
• Ability to liaise effectively with developers, managers and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to be self motivated with minimal direct management and the demonstrated commitment to meeting deadlines.
