PROJECT
The project will be transitioning from the original platform of ECC5 to a new owned and operated SAP ECC6 solution and associated components. A fully owned and managed SAP solution would give the department the tools to improve functionality and flexibility, implement and integrated strategic reporting solution, manage the data within the department's data management framework and provide improved corporate governance to allow the department's CEO to fulfil the accountabilities under the shared services framework.
POSITION SUMMARY
The project requires the services of an experienced SAP BI/BW Functional Consultant to build the new SAP ERP6 environment.
You will have responsibility for the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:
- We are looking to hire an experienced SAP BI/BW functional consultant to assist with a Greenfield ECC 6.0 implementation in the design of SAP BW/BI deliverables. This role plays an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- SAP BW/SAP BI Development, support & implementation experience (min of 5 years)
- Experience across ECC modules & relevant data extraction
- Info Cubes/Info Objects design & build
- Reporting writing skills
- Ability to co-ordinate directly with the customer on solution fit to business requirements and complete blueprint document and change requests when required
- Provide knowledge transfer to the business representative is imperative
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Demonstrated experience as a BI/BW Functional Consultant, with a high level of knowledge and experience across BI/BW and SAP minimum of 5 years' experience.
- Demonstrated experience across SAP modules & relevant data extraction
- You will be experienced in the full project life cycle, including Blueprinting, Design, Technical, Integration, Testing, and Migration
- 5 years plus SAP BI/BW consultancy experience
- Minimum of 2 full life cycle implementations
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and innovative problem solving skills and report writing skills
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Strong knowledge of reporting tools (SAP BW BEx)
- SAP ERP 6 and BI 7 experience would be highly regarded
- Experience working in government environment with Prince2 methodology
- Financial experience and or qualification
- SAP certification would be highly regarded
