Cognos Consultant required for a new contract role, based in Western Sydney and working for a major IT outsourcing due to start ASAP.
This Cognos consultant role will be to work with some of the best in the business and with cutting edge technologies on an ongoing contract basis. A valued client to add to anyone's Resume details.
The main duties of the role are:
- Gather client requirements
- Create high level solution designs based on client requirements
- Data acquisition
- Create reports using Cognos report studio
- Metadata modelling using Cognos Framework Manager
In order to be successful for this role, applicants must have the following:
- Cognos 8.4.1 Data Manager
- Cognos 8.4.1 Report Studio
- Cognos 8.4.1 Framework Manager
- Datamodelling, star schemas
- MS SQL
- Excellent Communication and client-facing skills.
