Amoria Bond Banking & Finance is looking for his client in Brussels for an Equity Derivative Business Analyst.
The mission:
The equity derivative business analyst will be required to work with the business to develop solutions to deal with the current business needs, through either business or technical solutions. Where a technical solution is required the Business Analyst will be responsible for providing functional specifications that meet internal systems and architecture.
The Equity Derivative Business Analyst will also be required to complete project management, liaising with vendors and technology staff to obtain relevant data, and testing systems to ensure that they meet the business requests.
Required:
Strong mathematical skills
Strong experience with Vanilla, Monte Carlo
Fluent in French and English mandatory
Experience within the Banking, Financial or Insurance market.
Task:
*Work with our internal business customers to understand their systems needs and translating these into business and function specifications
*Be able to be flexible and to work outside of their established knowledge base.
*Be able to pick up new businesses with little prior knowledge
*Investigation of business process and work flows, improving on these and suggesting solutions
*Project management of new and updates to systems.
*Identify system issues and logically direct resources to focus attention in certain areas
*Be flexible with working hours. Sometimes needing to work out side Standard hours at times. As our customers are internationally based and sometimes mission critical systems or peripherals require support.
*Willing to get involved in operational tasks as necessary.
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
