Aston Carter is recruiting a Functional SAP SD/MM Consultant to join the SAP team at one of our key clients.
Job Description:
* Implementation of fine distribution scenarios in Europe - understand and evaluate business requirements and translate them into functional specification and technical design.
* Perform hands-on configuration and instruct ABAP programmers.
* Define unit testing scenario's and execute unit testing. Document test scripts and test evidence in testing tool (Quality center).
* Define integration testing scenario's and execute integration testing. Document the scripts and evidence in the testing tool. Assist business users during UAT.
Required skills:
- Excellent knowledge of the SAP SD module and knowledge of integration points with SAP MM and FI modules.
- Strong knowledge of Order to Cash process in particular and Supply Chain processes in general. Strong knowledge of replenishment planning processes and ATP processes.
- Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solution & specifying that solution in functional and technical design documents. Translate functional and technical desing in appropriate test scripts and identify test cases to test the solution.
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP SD configuration, knowledge on (understand) ABAP coding and debugging.
Desired skills:
- GxP environment experience.
- Familiar with formal change management and System Development Life Cycle.
- Experience with working in an international environment, with key users located across the region.
- Experience with working in a virtual team & collaboration with off-shore ABAP team.
- g-ATP and/or CSFG (Cross system flow of goods) knowledge/exposure.
- Knowledge of APO planning and g-ATP are considered a plus.
