Description
A large EC Transport project is underway within our clients North Sea operation. The candidate will be required to join an existing team, to help build on the depth of EC configuration skills and will take responsibility for allocated work accordingly. The project, the largest of its kind within the industry, is a flagship development within the North Sea and will ultimately form part of a template which can be used within other clients operating companies. The role is Aberdeen based is expected to last approximately 18 months, so commitment is very important. There are no travel requirements
Responsibilities
*Configuration EC Transport Module in line with detailed business requirements
*Interface with users where business requirements need further clarification
*Assist report developers with understanding of data and configuration
*Troubleshoot data feeds to other systems
Deliverables
*Responsible for specific areas of development and configuration under project driven timing
*Documentation of effort and updates to pertinent business processes/guides
*Unit Testing and results
Experience & Knowledge
Essential
*Good attention to detail and analytical skills
*Detailed knowledge of version 10.x of the EC software components and associated data model
*Configuring EC Transport experience
*Knowledge of the upstream pipeline business
*Ability to set up and configure the EC software components for an upstream transportation solution
*Advantageous Team building
*Experience of system and user-acceptance testing (including definition of test cases)
*Experience in at least one Software Development Lifecycle technique (eg Agile, waterfall, RUP)
*Strong understanding of n-tier architecture
*Good communication skills
*Experience of producing technical designs
