On behalf of our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for Outside Plant Engineer on contract basis in Paris or Tulon.
Key Responsibilities
1. Focus on customer requirements which scope is related contract, be responsible for or participate in program FTTX technology, planning and design, supply and advice the local engineering quot ation, submit project delivery proposal and solution, be responsible for all relevant provisions of the contract. Be responsible for organiz e assessment of contract key point, responsible for clarifying any necessary issue to our customer, improve quality of contract.
2. Be responsible for discussion with customer to confirm the project schedule and key milestone, and guide subcontractor or local partners to approach project target.
3. Be responsible for the balance controlling which related all project implementation progress, quality and cost; Be responsible for acceptance of project delive red, and guarantee project being profitability and deliverables.
4. Be responsible for collect all relevant open point, pending issue and trace, and try to approach until it close.
5. Be responsible for supply all necessary document with good quality, supply weekly report and daily report if it is necessary. In charge of translate and communicate all necessary verbal or official information from the customer, subcontractor or local partner to project team.
6. Be responsible for c oordinate and manage the customers, subcontractor or local partner and client third party relationship.
Key skill and technology Requirements
1. have experience in wired network whom take charge in project manage, achievement delivery, quality manage or control, and should be familiar with fix-line projects progress and deployment process;
2. have 5 years telecom fiber distribution e ngineering experience, or have exterior copper cable engineering experience.
3. outside plant Infrastructure or civil work experience, trench digging and back filling engineering experience, optical duct fiber blowing and fiber splicing engineering experience.
4.. knowledge of fiber optic access network engineering or device such OLT, ONU&ONT etc, f amiliar with FTTX ODN design standards and specifications and its product.
5. Familiar with FTTX network design specification, proficient ly use various planning and design software tools such as Auto CAD, Viso, 3D Studio, CorelDraw, Adobe Photoshop, Freehand, Adobe Illustrator CS,Maya,Adobe Premiere, Pagemaker or any other related 2D/3D software;
6. Relevant legal, business and financial knowledge and experience to bidding of tendering;
7. Fluent in English and French, both written and oral.
