ScrumMaster/Project Manager Interface application
For one of our client, we are looking for a the Interface Applications team is hiring a project manager who will be responsible for the delivery of different projects in the department, in close liaison withall relevant departments and to company guidelines.

The Interface Applications team is in charge of the definition,development and maintenance of a wide set of products which are used worldwide by our customers in the community.

This is an opportunity for an energetic professional who enjoys analytical work, but can see the big picture, who can skillfully negotiate with team members and with other departments throughout the company, and aims to deliver high quality work while adhering to fixed timeframes. Strong communication and team playing skills and a keen sense of the customer will be key to success in this role.

Your responsibilities will be to

Ensure timely delivery of projects in line with agreed functionality,quality, cost and performance in compliance with company procedures and standards, thereby guaranteeing operational success of the product.Their product products with zero defects.
Define, analyse and evaluate business requirements with the stakeholders and translate those into a specifications document and project plan with involvement of the stakeholders. Monitor, maintainand report (to team, customers, project office) on the project statuson a continual basis and for the duration of the project.
Propose solutions to technical and/or business problems in relation tocurrent and future business requirements.
Make sure projects stays on track by pro-actively controlling actualstatus of cost, schedule, risk, quality and resources versus plans andby taking corrective action -resolving cross-departmental conflicts.
Working with the relevant development managers,
secure optimal resource utilization and match resource levels top roject needs (especially people and infrastructure). Define theresponsibilities of project members in partnership with line management motivating team members, providing regular feedback, positive recognition, and conducting post project review.
Act as scrum master for those projects that are implemented following Agile software development methods.
Contribute to improving the project management methodology by sharing lessons learned.

Technical Profile:

  • Scrum experience (Agile software development methods)
  • Java and XML
  • Unix and Windows

Education

  • University degree in IT/engineering/science/economics/MBA or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience within the area of IT product development and/or area of similar complexity.
  • Relevant experience in (Agile) software development, design or architecture of medium to high complexity software systems in Windowsand/or UNIX environments.
  • Knowledge of protocols, Middleware and web technology standards a.o. web-based technologies (J2EE, XML), communication, database andsecurity technologies.
