Description
Our client is currently migrating 5.x to 6.x. We are seeking a Senior TSM Administrator to assist in this effort.
Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for serving in a daily support role of their TSM environment and assisting with daily backups, which are run nightly.
- Responsible for all aspects of the TSM environment including the creating, monitor, reporting, and validation of all backup jobs for Open Systems.
- Responsible for managing the tape inventory and tape library infrastructure, performing system restores, and participating in disaster recovery actions and exercises.
- Will have on call responsibilities and will be expected to respond to incident tickets.
- Will also perform system changes and participate in projects to develop and provide guidance and input for project teams in relation to backup capabilities, schedules, execution, and training.
