Description
Our large energy client is seeking a Scada System Specialist to provide support for Distribution SCADA and the Distribution Management System Project in the Carolinas. This is a 12 month contract position located in Charlotte, NC.
Basic Qualifications:
- Pass NERC background checks
- BS/BA degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience supporting one or more of the following Alstom-Grid (AREVA) products.
- Modeling tools such as eterrasource or Genesys, and/or display building tools such as FG Display Builder or Substation Editor
- Able to work well in high pressure situations
- Able to communicate both verbally and written with business and technical information Excellent organizational skills and able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a willingness to take initiative and persevere through challenges
- Must be detail oriented and have careful attention to quality
- Able to provide 24 x 7 support
