Cerner Release Manager
The position will also participate in the implementations and standardized release/upgrade process for Cerner Laboratory Systems throughout the enterprise. The position will coordinate among vendor resources, the regional business team, IT technical & application support teams, as well as represent the Laboratory Sub-Portfolio in coordinating schedules/plans with other Care Delivery national program/projects. This position will also coordinate with the Care Delivery Laboratory Sub-Portfolio Program Manager, Director and Executive Director to communicate project level impacts across the enterprise. This position will also act as liaison with the regional project team members and subject matter experts during planning, execution & monitoring and close-out phases of the project. The position may also require coordination with on-shore/off-shore resources that will engage as part of the team to complete release notes evaluation, testing plans, technical configuration and other assigned project task activities. The Project Manager will coordinate with the Laboratory Program Manager and the Release Management Team to coordinate schedules and activities with the KPHealthConnect, SOX, technical and data center teams, National IT and Business Compliance Teams, as well as the Laboratory Program's Solution Design Consultants to ensure consistent and compliant system design documentation, financial estimation and implementation processes.
