Link Technologies is looking for a Sr. Programmer Analyst for a contract assignment in Carson City NV.
Scope
- Review and modify existing VB.NET & ASP.NET programs as required
- Document changes and follow protocols established by client.
- Write new programs using VB.NET & ASP.NET.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or any other equivalent degree with a minimum of seven (7) years of programming experience.
- Have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in developing programs using Microsoft .NET 2010.
- Be proficient in writing web applications using VB.NET & ASP.NET.
- Have experience in writing Web Services using .NET (this is a must).
- Be familiar with certificate exchange using Web Services.
- Be an expert in writing efficient SQL queries and using stored procedures in SQLServer.
- Be an expert in deriving and understanding business rules by reviewing existing programs.
- Have good communication, documentation and user requirement gathering skills.
- Be proficient in analysing, debugging and testing programs
- Be proficient in gathering user requirements.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS DESIRED
Experience in Powerbuilder or Cobol, DB2 and CICS is an added advantage although not a requirement for this position.
