Telecoms Field/OSP (Outside Plant) Engineer - Paris - France
My client a global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions are currently seeking a French speaking Field/OSP Plant Engineer for a 6 months extendable contract based in Paris, France.
The successful candidate must possess the following:
Key skill and technology Requirements
1. Bachelors or Masters Degree, have equivalent experience in Engineering or Business.
2. have experience in wired network whom take charge in project manage, achievement delivery, quality manage or control, and should be familiar with fix-line projects progress and deployment process;
3. have 5 years telecom fiber distribution engineering experience, or have exterior copper cable engineering experience.
4.Have outside plant Infrastructure or civil work experience, have trench digging and back filling engineering experience, have optical duct fiber blowing and fiber splicing engineering experience.
5. With knowledge of fiber optic access network engineering or device such OLT, ONU &ONT etc, familiar with FTTX ODN design standards and specifications and its product.
6. Familiar with FTTX network design specification, proficiently use various planning and design software tools such as AutoCAD, Viso, 3D Studio, CorelDraw, Adobe Photoshop, Freehand, Adobe Illustrator CS,Maya,Adobe Premiere, Pagemaker or any other related 2D/3D software;
7. Have good coordination and communication ability, be good at finding and solving problems; a successful team management experience is preferred;
8. With the relevant legal, business and financial knowledge and experience to bidding of tendering;
9. Fluent in English and French , both written and oral.
