Quantitative Software Developer - R Developer, Java Solvency II Financial, 6 Month Contract, Amsterdam
My Worldwide financial services client have an urgent requirement based in Amsterdam for an R Developer. The client have recently chosen R as there new statistical tool for Solvency II and now the client are urgently looking for an R developer to come on board and help the client grow use to the new tool and an onsite specialist to smooth over any initial difficulties and the applicants must be a real go-to individual in terms of their knowledge and experience as you will be practically developing the entire environment.
Skills set and experience required (essential)
R development and design
Java knowledge (particularly around R integration, The environment is Java based)
R system and environment architecture
R software architecture
Desirable Experience
Solvency II implementation - standard formulae.
Development life cycle
Quantitative analysis experience
Working in a very pressured environment
Design and architecture
Using R (from an end user perspective)
