Cardiff City Council are seeking a confident and experienced Service Manager to join their I&A Team.The ideal manager will have previous experience of reviewing a service; polices, procedures, structures & systems and have proven experience of improving teams adhering to set performance indicators.
The role will involve managing 3 team managers, 2 principle social workers & the overall responsibility of managing the intake and assessment service.
The service manager will be an experienced front line practitioner with experience of managing intake services using the Framework of assessment of need.
An agency manager is required to undertake the post in the short term.
Experience of using CareFirst would be an advantage.
