Description
Our client, a leading Investment Bank, currently seeks a Market Data Vendor Management, to be based in The Docklands.
The Market Data Vendor Management will undertake project to work with the Emerging Markets Website Team (EM) to source and contract with the required vendors and exchanges whilst leveraging current agreements in place. To enter the agreements into MDM and implement procedures for contract management on an ongoing basis.
The Market Data Vendor Management will be responsible for:
-Ensure database integrity for all contracts and renewals
-Track savings and avoidances made from effective negotiation or cost savings
-Weekly status report
-Weekly meeting with working group
-Ensure 95% of the information correct and present in database by due date
-Monthly reporting from MDM
-Agree with EM team to identify services/vendors/exchanges in scope
-Liaison with relevant vendors identified by the business as "in scope" to ascertain contracts in place and leverage current spend and terms
-Work closely with vendor management team and key relationship owners for the vendors
-Work with legal to ensure R&R process is applied to any required contracts which have not been through legal review previously
-Ensure any reporting requirements are clearly communicated to the business and documented in the contract pack
-Upload verified contract packs into MDM for ongoing management
-Negotiation of new agreements and renewals in line with business and legal requirements
-Track savings and avoidances made from effective negotiation or other cost savings
As such, the successful Market Data Vendor Management will have the following skills and experience:
-Experienced in vendor management and exchange distribution commercial polices and contract management
-Strong exchange distribution product knowledge gained from working in a major financial institution or vendor
-Good understanding of the commercial terms and conditions of the major market data vendors and exchanges
-Well versed in tracking compliance to vendor license and data usage policies
-Well organized and excellent administration skills
-Good communications skills, both verbal and written
-Experienced in using MDM
