CMMI Quality Assurance Specialist, Fluent French - Asset Management
Project Context My client is a prestigious financial institution in the Asset Management industry. They are looking for a n experienced CMMI QA Specialist.
Job description
This role has two main areas of responsibility:
1. Conduct QA reviews within IT:
- Process tailoring: define together with the IT project/maintenance managers to which extend the standard process applies. Help creating the related waiver requests.
- Coaching: support and advise the IT project/maintenance managers in applying the methodology and suggests for improvements/adaptations of the methodology when necessary.
- QA Reviews: Perform QA-reviews to make sure that the deliverables are created and are compliant with the standard methodology, and create QA Review reports, including the list of non-compliances and the defined action plan.
- Follow-up: keep track of the actions defined during the reviews and follow them up until closure.
- Reporting: Make sure the QA-monitoring databases are kept up-to-date with the latest review results. Escalate when necessary.
2. Participate in improvement committees with methodology designers by providing appropriate feed-back from the field
- CMMI processes improvement.
Required Experience/Skills:
Technical skills
- Knowledge of Project Management principles (project phases, deliverables, etc.).
- CMMI knowledge of Process Areas of level 2 & 3.
- Knowledge of Quality Center, Clarity with Open Workbench, Jira and MS Office suite.
- 2 years of Project Management.
- Minimum 1 CMMI deployment cycle as process user.
- Experience in IT Quality Assurance is a definite plus.
- Be a positive agent of change.
- Rigorous and assertive attitude, coupled with a demonstrated ability to coach IT people.
Experience as trainer is a plus.
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks, self-organized.
- High human inter-relationship skills, experience with multi-cultural environments.
- Preference to work in a collaborative and co-operative environment, within an international network and Matrix-based organisation.
- Pragmatism in performing QA reviews to take into account the major changes inducted by a company merge.
- Ability to understand complex IT solutions, preferably in the financial sector.
- Results oriented: sets high standards, has high analytical skills and delivers accordingly, and takes actions to ensure that others perform the same way.
- Fluent in French and English, both mandatory, knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
Language capability
Fluency in French is mandatory.
