Description
The Specified Personnel are required to:
1. Create Test Plans from documentation and meetings with technical and Business staff.
2. Identify and document functional and integration testing requirements and write scenarios and scripts to cover that functionality.
3. Identify data requirements to satisfy functional test scripts and create, manipulate and maintain test data.
4. Exeute test scripts and raise defects and issues.
5. Create Signoff Reports reflecting the results of testing.
6. Provide status reports indicating the progress of testing tasks.
7. Participate in the development and delivery of regression test suites via Quality Centre (or demonstrate the ability to learn QC).
8. Participate in Quality Assurance reviews and undertake recommended outcomes.
9. Acquire a level of technical understanding to ensure testing is comprehensive and relevant for each technical change or enhancement.
10. Analyse data, application errors, and general environmental/infrastructure problems found in extracted test data.
11. Coach and guide less experienced staff and actively support team training.
12. Acquire application knowledge in order to train users of the system.
Responses to Evaluation Criteria
The Candidate must provide details of skills and experience the Specified Personnel has to enable them to fulfil each of the following Evaluation Criteria:-
a. (i) understanding of the requirements;
(ii) The relevant expertise and experience of the individual(s) nominated to provide the Services including:
1. Demonstrated experience in information systems development, testing methodologies, relevant tools and techniques, such as:
- Testing concepts - including the ability to create Test Plans
- Identify functional and integration testing requirements - including writing test scenarios and scripts
- Identify data requirements - create, manipulate and maintain test data
- Execute and report on testing undertaken
- Develop regression testing.
- Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn to use testing tools such as Quality Centre and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to acquire and retain application and other technical knowledge
2. Team Orientation & Communication
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, provide technical advice and solutions and mentor teams, including the ability to negotiate and mediate as required.
- Demonstrated willingness to share skills and learn from others.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to operate under flexible working arrangements.
- Demonstrated experience in producing technical documentation.
- Ability to work with project managers, business representatives, business analysts and system testers to develop software solutions.
