Accountable for documenting, designing and constructing the Extract, Translate and Load jobs that will move data for the Operational Data Store using Talend ETL Platform
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for ETL development with successful design, development, and integration of components within the Talend ETL Platform and Java Technology
Perform Object Oriented Design, code formulation & unit testing in Java for the business rules required for data validation
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Required
At least 8 years of experience in a senior role in ETL related projects
Building Talend ETL & summary jobs
Scheduling and Monitoring Talend ETL platform
Experience automating, documenting and releasing quality ETL transforming data from one source to another.
Experience creating system, integration and performance test plans for large databases
Technical skills must include Java, T-SQL, PL/SQL
Data modelling in SQL Server environment and other database environments
Hands-on experience in Datawarehouse applications
Must have experience working in Agile and Scrum methodologies
Candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred
Experience with MicroStrategy, Informatica and other tools
Experience with C# or other programming languages
Advanced knowledge in relational databases especially for SQL Server and Oracle
Experience with Business Intelligence tools and/or technologies
